Opera

April and I are going to an opera. The opera I about a story called Aida. I'm so exited to go!

Just watched the opera and April loved it but I don't know I kinda liked it but it was in Italian so I couldn't really understand it. It was only 1 hour and ten minutes so I could get through it. I guess opera isn't my thing.

Even if you can't understand the words, I bet the singing was impressive. I've also never been to a live Opera, so looking forward to hearing more about it!

Opera is learned appreciation……I think people develop a liking for the opera sound over time and exposure to many opera😍🙃🥰

Opera is something to see just to say you have seen it to be cultured, but I'm not a really a fan either!

My home town - Plovdiv is the cultural capital of Bulgaria. There is an ancient Roman theater that is still being used for summer performance- operas, musicals etc. It’s a fantastic experience. You don’t need to understand the words to get the feelings represented by the singing and the music. I’m sure you can understand what the Italians are saying to you by their intonation and gesturing. Reading about the storyline ahead of attending the opera also helps.
