This entire thing is going to be bad luck until the end. It started off we woke up really early and I put in my contacts and I didn't eat breakfast and then we left for a 45-minute drive. We get there and the waves are too heavy to do anything so they decided (without telling us until we got there), oh now you need to go to this place which is another 30 minutes away. We get there, takes us 20 minutes to find the guy, then he notices he doesn't have any snorkeling equipment or enough wetsuits or masks. So then he leaves for a "10-15 minute round trip" he said. He left at 10:45 at the latest and got back 11:55. After that, we finally got everything put on with all our gear. Then we were going to practice me clearing my mask but I couldn't take off my mask under salt water so I didn't, but we still went on the dive anyway because I can clear my mask I just can't flood it on purpose. After all of this, we saw a bunch of cool fish. Kivan and Dad had a fun time snorkeling, but Kivan was done. Going on my first dive since my certification dives felt interesting because I feel too young to do this. The fish were pretty. I saw a seahorse, but I thought it was a dragon. The end!

Wow what an adventurous time you had. By the way, I didn't know you wore contact lenses. You are very brave to go scuba diving. I wouldn't even be brave enough for a snorkel. You'll never forget this wonderful experience.

Sound like all’s well that ended well! I think seeing a seahorse in the wild in the ocean is a very unique experience. Its so amazing what is hidden under the waves that most people never get to see except in an aquarium. Hope everyone continues to have a wonderful trip!

Sorry you had a rough start, but I'm glad it ended with a seahorse!
