We went on a tour of the whole city. At first we went to a pottery place. At the shop April and Derek bought a fountain an ugly one at that. Sorry. Then we went to a horrible place the tanning works. While we were there I actually thought of being vegetarian. Then the wearvery they taught us how to make a blanket. When I bought something it was 160$ and I said that I only had 80$ do I got it for 80$ but then April wanted a scarf and asked the guy. "Is the scarf included". He said no but then she looked at him so we got 250$ + for only 80$.

I will be interested in seeing that fountain. And as a retired businessman I to see my family negotiate to get a good deal! Way to go Branwen and April!

Sounds like perhaps you've had your first experience with price haggling? It is common practice in some cultures, and it is well known there is a "local price" and a "tourist price" in places with lots of tourism. Sounds like you guys got a good deal!

I love seeing crafting places! Too bad the tanning was gross.
